Ânderson Luís da Silva (born 13 February 1981), known as Luisão, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Portuguese club Benfica. Most of his professional career has been spent with Benfica, for which he has appeared in more than 500 official matches, holding the club record for most international matches (123). With Benfica, he was won 19 major titles, a record shared with Nené. Luisão is the longest-serving captain in Benfica history. A Brazilian international on 44 occasions, Luisão appeared for the country in two World Cups and three Copa América tournaments.
